Beautiful Design and Attention to Detail
The Asunta Pelaez "flying Hummingbirds" 6-drawer jewelry box is a delight. The quality of the painting is extraordinary, and the overall craftsmanship of the box is of very high quality and shows the attention to detail of this artist. Beautiful!
I bought this for my aunt, who loves hummingbirds. She hasn't been feeling well, and I thought watching hummingbirds nest outside her window might cheer her up. Well, of course, she loves the gourd birdhouse. It's beautiful. It might be too beautiful to put outside...that made me laugh, but she promises she will hang it outside, in a sheltered spot so it will be protected from the elements. Right now, it's hanging in her living room! Either way, she loves it.

My go to Gift!!
This box is exquisite! It absolutely exceeded my expectation! It is so unique and the hand painting is lovely and so very delicate! I plan on ordering several more as gifts for birthdays for all of my daughter-in-laws. Not to mention one for my Mother. I purchased it as a gift and I had a hard time not keeping it for myself. Beautiful work!!
