This is a beautifully crafted piece of art. Every time I have tea or coffee in this mug it brings a smile to my face. It is balanced and surprisingly lightweight, a mark of a superb potter. On holiday
For summer, I redecorate the master bedroom in a costal theme. These coasters are on the bedside tables to hold the cold lemon water we have there during the night if we happen to wake up and want a sip. They fit perfectly with the theme of the room and are a bit larger in circumference than I thought - which is great as this accomodates various sizes of glasses or mugs. The blue is a beautiful shade and although the design in the fish is somewhat etched, the surface is smooth and even, providing a sturdy base. They are also thick, which means I don't need to worry about heat-transfer to the oak of our tables.
