I bought this together with another African mask. They hang on either side of the fireplace in our house. They are both very distinctive and make excellent decorative pieces and also have that feel of handmade items. A lot of guests to our house comment on them.
It is beautiful piece of art work. It will fit right in with my collection of African art. Is there a way I can contact the artist? I'd like to send him pictures of my collection. It might give him some ideas for future carvings.
The mask is beautiful. Arrived in a very well-packed package and was intact despite its delicate nature. Will be keeping any eye out for future purchases.
