My great grandparents immigrated from Ireland to America because of the potato famine in the mid-nineteenth century. My father worked as a railroad engineer early in his career. He would have liked these iron bookends upcycled from railroad spikes. Bravo!
I bought this as a gift for my best friend who loves cats and has plenty of them. It's bigger than I expected, but the sculpture is very well done. I am glad I bought it!
