For My Mexican Friend

I bought this for my best friend (her family is from Mexico) for her birthday. I didn't actually see it because it came to me giftwrapped, but it was WELL protected in it's box. It was wrapped for dear life. So, if you're concerned about the fragility of it... I'm not sure how it could possibly break with how well they packaged it in paper.

I am proud and very grateful to have two of Pedro's pieces for our new kitchenware after losing everything in a CA fire last year. I lived in Spain and in Mexico as a student and have always appreciated the artistry of Talavera-style pottery. The design is intricate, the colors true and gorgeous; the pieces are elegant as weight belies the sturdiness of the pottery. Everything was expertly packed.
