I had previously purchased these cards in a different color combination - predominantly blue and I got so many compliments on them that I was really happy to see that the Magdalena Women Artists had created more with a variation in the coloring. These ornaments make me happy, as though you can feel the peaceful spirit of the artisan. These are subtle and exquisite. I like the natural material and the delicate gold design. The gold cord is nice, but I swapped it for a very thin turquoise satin ribbon to add a touch of my own. I bought two sets of these to give as small gifts for friends in my writing group. I wrote a message on the back with acrylic paint pen -- just a few words plus the year -- in a blue that matches the ribbon I used.

These are beautiful and perfect as Christmas ornaments. They are really high quality, and a good size and weight for easy hanging. I got these as a gift, but now will order some for myself.
