“Love these”

Delightful and unique salad plates with two-sided smooth coats of pale blue sandwiching a rough, tan base whose scalloped edge shows through. The color and texture combos are great.

“Sweet!”

These petite, charming cups are delightful. Both the inside and outside are colorful. They have an exotic look to them, and would be perfect for when you invite a good friend over for a bit of tea! I have purchased some other pieces from Kika, and they are all lovely and beautifully made.

“Beautiful blue plate”

It isn t as turquoise as the photo and is a bit mis shaped due to being hand made, but it s just the right size for a cake plate that fits under my cake protector and for that I m delighted.

“So nice!”

Substantial and lovely plates. I love the way you can see and feel how the artisan worked the edges of these plates with her fingers, creating little upturned areas on which the painted design on the bottom is barely visible. Signed.

“Lovely”

These are lovely bowls with a colorful, smooth inside contrasted by a delightfully textured outside that is beautifully painted by the artist with a flowing pattern. Signed on the bottom. I look forward to using these.

“No mention of side/bottom decoration?”

The description of these plates should mention the beautiful decoration the artist paints on the sides. This is visible especially when the plate is turned over. There are no pictures of this. So a wonderful surprise! These are nice, substantial plates. I like them very much. Unfortunately, mine are not the blue shown, but a greenish blue. Since it says color may vary, I guess it did. This is my fault for ordering items that are already in the U.S.(it will say so under the delivery description) and thus likely a return. I bet chances are that the same plates coming directly from the original country have a better chance of being the great blue described. Of course, they are unlikely to be on sale then...
