I love octopuses - they are smart and fascinating. So I was very excited to see these beaded ones, and had a really hard time deciding which color to choose. But I'm so happy with the blue one, with it's gradations of blue and purple tones and minute detail. (Still trying to figure out how on earth its VERY delicate shapes were created. I've done a bit of beadwork myself, but NOTHING as like this.) Truly impressive!

Thank you Andriana! I have seen many earrings made this way before -- but never is such a clever way! I love wearing my butterfly wings! For me, butterflies represent "the spirits of my ancestors"... and I know I can "hear" them better when I wear these earrings. I know these earrings take such a long time to make.... One day, I will count every bead -- just for the fun of it.
