This kind of master handcrafting is so beautiful but difficult to find in the USA. I was especially touched by M. Ayub?s write up about the Kashmir Valley and how he learned his craft which was historically passed from one generation to the next but attracts fewer and fewer artisans these days. Smaller lovely box

I ordered the larger box a few years ago and loved it. When I saw this smaller version with butterflies, I knew it would be the perfect gift for my butterfly loving friend. She loved Gusti's intricate artwork and as a watercolor artist herself, found the details to be extraordinary. It is an affordable piece of art.
