looks more flat than hammered...the hammering is subtle. beautiful craftsmanship.
Stone looks faceted, and with more color variety in the photo, it is not. A deep blue cabochon is more like it.
That being said, it is quite pretty and fits perfectly!
Even though this looks a big ring, it is surprisingly light and easy to wear. The setting around the stone is elevated a little above the band making it ride a little above adjacent fingers. The stone is beautiful.
These airings are fantastic! They go beautifully with a matching necklace. From a sterling silver hook hangs an open circle. The circle is composed of a thin band that widens to two bands in the bottom half of the circle. The two bands are filled in by sterling silver filigree. In the center of the circle dangles a shiny sterling silver seer.
