In Kenya Giraffe is called Tiga. I was adopted by a Woman from the Katiga Clan of the Luos, they are the "Far Seers". This wood giraffe is great, beautifully carved with a good sized place in side for some special jewelry. Tiga stands up proudly to see far.
Love these giraffes. Each one is unique. In addition to hanging, they stand well. They are colorful and have the sweetest faces. So pleased with this purchase.
I love the way the purchases are so carefully packed--the ears and the stalks packaged separately to avoid breaking. This little guy is a real gem and fits perfectly into an illustration of a story I wrote.
