I chose this item because is beautiful by itself, but what interested me most is that it has beautifully placed 7 stones. I have exactly that number of grandchildren- each with a stone now ! Gorgeous amethyst brooch! The gemstones are a lovely light to medium purple. Very good size 2.8 inches. I appreciate the rhodium plating so it will not tarnish. A timeless design. I have quite a few of Mr. Alok Jain brooches and I love them all!
