This little wooden box is even more beautiful than it's picture portrays! The palette of colors that Gung Gus uses is particularly attractive. I have a passion for unique artisan made boxes! This one is like the rendering of a 'detail' from a great tapestry! The interior is perfectly finished too. With her usual consummate artistry and imagination, Erika Ulloa offers a prayer for peace in her depiction of the birth of the Christ Child changing soldiers from agents of war into bringers of aid and comfort. For me at least, this takes 'just another nativity scene in my collection" to an instrument of contemplation and of motivation for working for social change. I LOVE this Item!

I recently renovated my bedroom and was looking for artwork to complement the new wallpaper and decor. I was mildly anxious, but felt that this picture would work. IT IS EXQUISITE. It took a while to be delivered (as advertised) - but was absolutely worth the wait. I love the curves and waves of the flowers and the accents in silver and gold. The colors are intense but soothing. It is nearly a 3-dimensional piece of artwork. It arrived packaged safely (stretched and ready to hang if you don't want a frame) and just warms my heart. It is a superb piece - and I love that it is signed and dated. It is my new powerful antithesis to the negative energies of 2020. I can't wait to hang it where I can be calmed every day by its presence.
