Audio CD of Javanese Music with Nature Sounds, "Kecapi Suling Part I"

Combining the sounds of nature with indigenous Sundanese instrumental music, this CD is bound to put you in a tranquil state of mind. The collection features both traditional songs of Java as well as new composers. Layered over the musical tracks are subtle sounds of birdsong, waves, trickling streams, and other natural phenomena. Especially featured on the disc is a West Javanese style known as kecapi suling. The kecapi is a zither-like, plucked instrument, and the suling is a traditional bamboo flute.
