Be captivated by a fascinating artwork that intrigues the eye and ignites the imagination. Ghana's Emmanuel Atiemoh Yeboah depicts a red African mask with a long nose, white eyes and stars and a crescent moon in the background. The artist first sprinkles red and blue acrylic paints on a calico cotton fabric for a simple yet colourful background. He then cuts it in particular places, fills the spots with fabric adorned with batik motifs and glues them together. The splendid collage is finally backed with cardstock paper and framed with black redwood.
