Elizabeth Alorchie-Apetor finds glistening deka ("harmony" in the Ewe language) in the design of this necklace as she combines gray, white, black, ice and amber hues. Working with beads of recycled glass, she strings and knots six strands by hand. Clay beads shaped like cocoa pods border the beaded torsade that fastens with a brass clasp.
