Blue and Orange Chameleon Alebrije Figure from Oaxaca, "Chameleon with the Blues"

We all know that chameleons can change colour, but this might be a little extreme. Actually, the lizard is an alebrije, part of a folk art tradition that carves animals from wood and paints them in bright colours and wild designs. This little guy was created and signed by artists Gerardo and Teresa Ojeda from Oaxaca, Mexico.
