Classic Cross-Themed Tuff Stone Stela Sculpture from Armenia, "Grand Altar to Devotion"

Made as an homage to the region's ancient arts and history, Miqayel Nalbandyan's newest creation draws inspiration from the cathedrals and temples that embellish the Armenian landscapes to create this khachkar or stela sculpture from tuff stone in a magnificent red tone. The piece features a cross and classic leafy and floral details hand-carved by the artisan using ancestral techniques that allow him to add an elegant structure and sturdy base.
