Crafted by hand, this decorative vase is incised with mega mendung patterns. Mega mendung is a traditional batik motif from Cirebon, West Java. It represents a cloud in many shape and colours. Mega itself has meaning of "cloud," while mendung is "dark cloud." Women potters from the Lombok Pottery centre work in terracotta, polishing the unglazed clay to a sleek, smooth finish.

“Stunning!”

This lovely and unusual vase became the final addition to our newly remodeled bathroom. The colors are raspberry, terra-cotta, and yellow. Ive filled the vase with a simple, dried collection wit matching accents. Its a truly one-of-a-kind show stopper!
