Leaves in orange, teal blue and red float over paisley bouquets becoming an elegant shawl by India's Isha Jain. The patterns are achieved with traditional hand-block techniques on a hand loomed shawl prepared with a cotton weft and a Chanderi silk warp. Unique to the town of the same name, this type of silk is renowned for its lustrous softness.

I viewed this scarf several times before purchasing. The design is elegant in its simplicity and looks exactly as pictured. However, the fabric is quite stiff. Ive washed it by hand in baking soda to soften the fibers and eventually Ill get it softened up.

This scarf/shawl is simply stunning! The fabric is beautiful, the zari adds shimmer, and the printing is clean and lovely. Very highly recommend!
