Violeta Pacheco fell into the textile arts after working as an assistant for a well-known craftsman in Lima. After saving enough money to purchase her own knitting machines, she decided to take the leap into creating her own line of designs.

“Handmade???”

I own only handknit jumpers, which are unique, irregular artisan pieces. This jumper is too perfect to be handknit as all the seams and knit are exacting like a machine made one. Im not too sure how handmade is being defined here but Im not sure it matches mine. The finish is too flawless compared to any modern or traditional handknit from the Scottish Isles, Ireland, or Scandinavia. I even have some USA handknits that are five decades old that are still wearing gloriously. Its not my intent to be mean but this garment is a disappointment-maybe my standards are just different...apologies
