Working with ancient glass recovered from Roman dig sites that are thousands of years old, Thai artisan Michael Krainer creates a pair of earrings full of history. Two drops of Roman glass are framed by sterling silver, with filigree-accented drops that dangle below.

Nice earrings but Roman glass, where? Make no mistake its not roman glass. If there is glass, its only tiny microscopic pieces mixed in with some sort of plastic mold. there is no single piece of glass. the description and photo is very misleading .

I absolutely love the style/design but the Roman glass part deterred from this product, it looked as if someone had just stuck on miniature shards with glue as an afterthought...not like it appeared on the website. Again, I love the overall design but disappointed with the final quality.

The craftsmanship is lovely. I wore the earrings all day and forgot I had them on. Beautiful color.

Ive been waiting for a red carnelian bracelet and this fit the bill! I have orange carnelian bracelets, but no red carnelian bracelets. I hope it turns out to be red? I also love the filigree sterling work done to it!
