This stunning poppy-red tunic is the creation of Isha Jain in India. Crafted of a cotton/silk blend, the neckline and cuffs of the tunic feature gold and silver gota embroidery, an applique-like technique that originated in Rajasthan and is traditionally used on wedding and formal garments. Gold zari embroidery, sequins and sparkling faux stones add extra glamour. The semi-sheer tunic features three-quarter length sleeves and a cotton-lined bodice.

“Embelished red silk-cotton tunic”

Well done and is gorgeous. I wish you could have made the tunic about 2 inches longer in length, then I believe it would be a real tunic.

“Striking but stiff”

I viewed this scarf several times before purchasing. The design is elegant in its simplicity and looks exactly as pictured. However, the fabric is quite stiff. Ive washed it by hand in baking soda to soften the fibers and eventually Ill get it softened up.

“Elegant and Ethereal”
