Ketut Bungkling in Bali paints this marvelous sculpture by hand in meticulous detail. The egg-shaped albesia wood sculpture depicts boys in a river playing a game of juru pencar, a game that mimics the actions of fishermen spreading nets to catch fish. The sculpture arrives on a golden wooden base.

This egg is truly unique and very well done. The artist is very talented. My husband has some painted ostrich eggs but this wooden egg fit in perfectly with his carved wooden animal collection.
