Ancient legends always tell of gods taking the form of peacocks to visit and wander the human world, showing their divine nature with a magical plumage full of colour. Inspired by this charming bird, Thai artisan Nikom hand-paints a stunning scene on a yellow cotton parasol featuring floral and leafy details. Intended to add elegance to your walks, the accessory also comes with a bamboo frame for a sturdy touch.

Just Love This Umbrella”

This colorful, lovely work of umbrella art would have been perfect except I have a hard time opening it completely. Could it be due to my age(78)? I would like to find out if you also create smaller versions of these umbrellas, Mr. Nikom. I believe they are called monks umbrellas in Thailand. I would like to purchase at least half a dozen of them to give away as gifts if you do.

Protection from the sun When not in use, I use it as a decoration in my family room to add a splash of color
