A parrot perches beside the fruit of the palm tree. Grasping the succulent treat in its claws, the bird leisurely feasts on the fruit. Daniel Quarcoo carves the beautiful sculpture from a single piece of wood, adding rich textures with aluminum repoussé. Brass inlay forms the eyes. The artisan names his original design Ako pe Abe, an Akan phrase that means " parrot likes palm fruit."
You can find our wood sculpture 'Parrot with Palm Fruit' by Daniel Quarcoo in categories such as Animal Themed Sculpture and Brass Sculpture. Enjoy exploring these sections for other Novica treasures.
