Master woodworker Daniel Nyadedzor carves this set of antique style combs. Originating from the Ashanti region of Ghana, they bear the name Nyansa, meaning "wisdom" and symbolize the type of combs used by the Ashanti long ago. The face of an elderly person is featured, highlighted with intriguing metal plates embossed with African motifs.

Not only are these wood combs made with such skill and detail, they came wrapped so delicately and professionally. I will be a return shopper!

I gave these as Christmas gifts to a business colleague. Something unique and different for those who have everything. Liked the fact they were made of wood.
