Wish upon this handcrafted star by Riris Mahanani. Using recycled magazines, the Javanese artisan coils the paper into tight cylinders and then forms them into the shape of a three-dimensional star. The inner portion of the star features a circular swirl pattern for mesmerizing detail. The reverse of the star includes a black polyester backing.

“Absolutely fantastic!”

These are just amazing! I really can t believe they are made out of recycled newspaper! They have such a beautiful shimmer. I gave one of the ornaments in the set to my aunt and she also was very impressed! Congratulations to the talented artist who made these ornaments! You do very beautiful work!
