Zandra Lorena Sajbin highlights the legendary beauty of jade in the design of these earrings. She selects lilac jade or ya'ax chich, which the Maya regarded as a sacred symbol of life, fertility and power. The earrings are crafted by hand featuring sterling silver spirals.

“Perfect for a younger or petite indiviual”

Not sure why I thought these earrings would be more substantial in size and weight. I would return them but it would cost me 10.00 to do so and right now, with Christmas, I just dont want to deal with the hassle. I think they would work with a young teenager or a petite lady, but I am old and tall.

“Sweet!”

Beautiful and delicate. They are smaller than they are in the image, but my own fault for not carefully paying attention to the dimensions. Very nice!

“Beautiful soft Green Jade Earrings”

I just love these earrings! They are a beautiful soft green jade set in silver that go well with casual or dress clothes. I did change out the original wires on these earrings with some longer skinnier wires that I can easily put on and take off. The other wires were too big for my ears. Unfortunately that meant losing the little silver accent at the top corner of the stone setting

“The Maya Empress - absolutely beautiful, and elegant”

“Nothing Special”

While I expected some variation in the jade color, the stones were dark, dark. Hardly green, at all. The picture shows the earrings as being substantially constructed. Not so. The ear wires are flimsy silver and difficult to use because they have to be manipulated so they will break, or at best will become gnarly-looking. I am not going to return them because that would end up being expensive. All in all, Im very disappointed.
