Inspired by the florid artistry of Talavera-style ceramics, Pedro Alba creates the refreshing design of this flower pot. It is crafted and painted by hand in the tradition of Talavera art, a type of majolica ceramics brought to Mexico from Spain in the 16th century. The flower pot features a draining hole.

I purchased this Jerusalem Rose Cross to replace much smaller Talavera broken cross from Santa Fe, NM, in my guest room. I collect crosses and I have a cross in every room of my home to remind me of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us all. This Talavera cross by artist Pedro Alba was on sale for almost half the original price! I truly could not be more pleased with this work of art. The colors and flowers are vivid! This cross is very special to me, as I am Roman Catholic. The beautiful cross reminds me of the Sacred Heart of Jesus each time I see it hanging by my guest bed. Muchas gracias, Senor Alba!
