Artisan Ana Fernandez of Peru designs this men's long-sleeve pullover sweater made from luxuriously soft 100% alpaca wool with a quarter-zip collar. The sweater features dark blue sleeves and a multicoloured torso in a variety of geometric patterns inspired by traditional motifs.

About her designs, the artisan says, "For me, designing is a fusion of ideas. I blend fashion trends with my own favorite sources of inspiration, which are Victorian textiles and our Peruvian culture. I love designing apparel of alpaca wool and cotton because this really makes a contribution to society. It lets me give jobs to local people, especially women who want to get ahead and move to central Peru seeking a better future."

“Runs big...refer to the size chart!”

Unfortunately, I did not look at the size chart when ordering this pretty sweater...so as a result its huge on me. I will find someone to gift it to. The knit is a looser but bulkier looking knit that is fairly lightweight for its size. The loop for the button was very tight so was difficult to get the horn button through it to open up the sweater.

“Soft and Slouchy”

Love this sweater!! Great colors, cozy style. Perfect over a t-shirt or turtleneck. Runs a little large, but its supposed to be a bit over-sized. Nice quality craftsmanship.
