Born in Salzburg in 1924, artist Georg Rauch shares a memory from his childhood. He takes the perspective of a very small boy gazing upward at a woman in a long skirt and black leggings. She wears tall lace-up boots that reveal a pair of playful red socks. He works in the silkscreen technique to create this colorful limited edition portrait.
Titled "Schnürstiefel" (lace-up boots) in German.
