Original Signed Costa Rican Fine Art Flame Flower Painting, "Flower in Leaf"

Bright in the afternoon shadows, flame flowers cluster on verdant vines where dewdrops pose on leaves. This evocative work of art depicts the flame flower, or llamarada that flourishes in the tropics. Sharing her love of nature and her passion for art, Sylvia Fournier works in mixed media for this painting. She calls her technique "photo art," digitally printing one of her original photographs on canvas, then painting over parts of it with acrylics, pastels, chalk and marking pens.
