Narrow bands of Pacific blue, boysenberry and plum create exuberant stripes in a scarf of vibrant color. Working on a backstrap loom, Maya artisans from K'amolon K'i K'ojonel transform soft rayon made from bamboo into a beautiful handwoven design with a chenille-like texture. "We call this collection 'Woven with Love' because, as we weave them, we feel productive and creative. We share them with much love for the world," the artisans confide.

I love this woven scarf, but it s quite long on me. I am 5 foot two and have to wrap it over around my neck numerous times..

Kamolons poncho is everything described. I like wearing it with a tank top underneath or a three-quarters length cotton shirt. Can be dressed up or down. Mostly I love knowing something about the artist and supporting her excellent work.
