His serious expression shows concern, for he worries about the cosmic catastrophes caused by an eclipse. Artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association depict a priest from the ancient city of Teotihuacan. It was the priest's responsibility to assist the sun's survival through sacrifices and ritual. The Mexican artisans work in yellow clay from Oaxaca, colored with mineral tints.

“Beautiful mask”

I was so sad to hear of Mr. Ceron s passing. I am also very sorry for this overdue review for his gorgeous artwork. I have bought several of his pieces, and I genuinely cherish all of them. I will continue to buy these most remarkable and highly valued pieces of art from his family of great artists and craftsmen.

“Nice piece”

Maya with Chu Vessel is a really nice ceramic sculpture. It is not, however, signed by the artist. Instead, it has a generic MEXICO sticker plastered on the back. Additionally, there was not a certified story card included. The lack of those items gives the appearance of a mass-produced piece.
