Ghana's Theophilus Anum creates this stunning mask in honor of Festac, an ambitious arts and culture festival held in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1977. The artisan crafts the mask from local sese wood before decorating the surface in red, white, and gold recycled glass beads.

The workmanship is superb, the colors are subtle but perfect, the piece has a certain heft that is hard to explain but much appreciated. Im sure to look for his pieces when I next order a mask.
