Signed Figure Drawing with Mat, "Putri Keraton"

Carefully rendered with pencil on paper, Mukti Wibowo's beautiful sketch depicts a four royal figures dressed in gleaming jewels. Inspired by the stone relief sculptures on famed Buddhist temple Candi Borobudur, the artist carefully shades each figure, giving the sketch a bas-relief appearance. A black polyester mat complements the drawing's shaded areas perfectly.
