With graceful movements and gestures, a woman performs the Serimpi dance. The dance has its origins in the royal palace of Yogyakarta and has been performed since the 12th century. Harman depicts the lithe dancer in his unique style with glowing colors. "This dance is usually is shown for special guests as a way of saying welcome," the artist explains.

I purchased three of the very talented Harmans paintings and am getting them framed. The colors and themes are so beautiful that with each tube of the rolled artwork I opened, I felt like I was going to cry. The pieces are so amazing! I cant wait to show you how they look when they are framed and hanging in my home. - Maria Kinney
