Although other areas of Mexico get more attention, the country's capital is home to a large and vibrant silverwork and jewellery crafting tradition. Because of the cosmopolitan environment, designs here are often a mix of past and present. These lovely earrings by Eva Souto are a good example of this, using classic filigree techniques to craft a modern creation in sterling silver and moonstone.
