Known as calavera la comadre, or "midwife skull," the pendant of this necklace is crafted from sterling silver. The grinning skull features smaller skulls within its eyes, its head wreathed in flowers and other small skulls. Mexican artisan Angel Ortiz creates this pendant necklace, which circles the neck with black rubber cord that closes with a sterling clasp. This necklace carries the beauty of Taxco silversmithing wherever it goes.

“Nice necklace”

Necklace is as pictured. Wish the chain was a little more feminine and shorter. Will probably use this pendant on a different chain.
