Gleaming golden color defines icons of the Inca Empire. The Inca god Wiracocha is the original divinity of the people of Tiahuanaco. He emerged from the waters of Lake Titicaca and created the heavens, the earth, and the first generation of giants who inhabited the land in total darkness. A ceremonial tumi knife with its curved blade features a handle fashioned like a king. Ana Maria Enciso works in copper and bronze to craft this beautiful vase.
