Balinese artisan Dewi Putera names this design for Puncak Jaya, the highest mountain in Indonesia and indeed in Oceania. Despite being just 4 degrees from the equator, it supports several glaciers on its slopes. These sterling silver dangle earrings feature ornately detailed cone shapes, further embellished by wine-red chalcedony stones. The artisan adds the swirls and silver granules traditional to Balinese silverwork.

These earrings are lovely and meticulously crafted. However, the color in the photo and description is deceiving. These were not the deep red shade depicted, but more of a light carnelian shade. Beautiful, nonetheless, and I certainly will keep and enjoy them...however I was in the market for a more scarlet shade.

I would describe the color as amber, rather than red, since it is orangey. Receive compliments every time I wear them.

These earrings are beautiful. The stones are a deep, rich color. They hang perfectly and are not too heavy despite being a substantial pair of earrings. I gave them as a gift and they were adored.

These earrings are not as large or as heavy as I thought they would be. They are delicate and the design is quite unique. They are a nice dangle earring and are very comfortable.

Very dramatic earrings. The shepherd hook was too big/thick for comfort, however, so had to be replaced before I could wear these.
