With ears at attention and golden eyes watchful, a cat is ever alert. Gusti Ngurah Semarajaya explores the feline mystique in a beautiful doll, crafted by hand. Carved from crocodile wood and dressed in handloomed ikat cloth, the colorful kitty can be posed in a variety of positions. It can be displayed either alone or on a base.

"Ikat" means means "to knot" in the Malaysian language, and the threads are tie-dyed before weaving.

“Unique item for cat lovers”

As a lover of cats and ethnic arts, I couldnt resist this doll. In fact, Ive bought one for myself, as a gift for a cat-loving friend who did me a big favor and to donate to the fundraiser for a local cat rescue, where it sold for more than its retail value in the silent auction. Its a truly beautiful item (the painting is exquisite).

“Love This Cat”

If you are a cat lover or not, you will surely love this great feline. The cat is beautifully crafted and painted. This is by far my favorite cat. this is a must have for the individual who collects crafted items.

“Beautiful gift for my partner”

This turtle box is absolutely gorgeous and came with a lovely handwritten note! It also came beautifully wrapped. My boyfriend uses it everyday to store his earrings and rings and he absolutely adores it

“This is a cherished heirloom…”

As with the wooden doll, spiritual seeker, this is to a mystical creation. My husband continues to comment on the skills and imagination it took to create such a piece. Again, many thanks. If any one is considering purchasing one of Gusti creations, the answer is an overwhelming YES!!!
