By Mohammad Arifin, this beautiful abstract is filled with warmth and meaning. "Gunungan is the Javanese word for the tree of life. It represents the earth and all beings that live in it — man, animals and plants that live in together in peace and harmony. It means coexisting without war and disturbances because there is respect, tolerance and love among all creatures," the artist explains. The motif itself is a fragment of the image of the tree of life.

This is beyond gorgeous. The photo on Novica does not do it justice. I could not believe the colors, textures, and workmanship. Mr. Arifin has the eye and skill of a first-rate artist. I am proud to own this and display it in my home.
