I could not wait to receive this. I love the design but the best part is the garnet is my birthstone and the peridot was my mom's. This beautiful piece of art means so very much to me. Beautiful design and the chain is really sturdy. Very well made and even nicer in person. Thank you for such a special piece that I have personally renamed "Mother & Child".

Not really like the photos

The photos for this item make it look gaudy, and the stones appear large and synthetic. In truth, this is a delicate, elegant piece with a refined, classy appearance. It is gorgeous! And it sparkles!!! The colorful stones--which are set solidly in individual wells of sterling--are just the right size for a multigem necklace: not too big and not too small. Yes, as someone wrote in their review, the piece makes one feel like a princess. Do make sure that the chain isn't twisted even a little bit when you latch it, or otherwise the gems will easily turn upside down!
