It was a gift and loved by the person gifted to. The wool quality was good but it will need something to be worn inside otherwise it can be very itchy. The knitting is exquisite.

What a beautiful, cozy sweater! I wore this for the first time today and already received compliments from my co-workers at an art gallery I work at! This unique short-sleeved sweater is perfect for Fall and Winter. It can be worn with or without a long-sleeved shirt underneath, making it versatile. I love how the neck stays up--something very difficult to find these days. I ordered a small, and it fits perfectly-not too snug or too loose. (I'm 5'6", 128 pounds, athletic build) It truly is a beautiful piece and would love to buy the same sweater in gray if it becomes available in my size. Beautiful soft merino wool -- warm, yet not heavy. Gorgeous traditional patterns, and a very unusual soft rose color. I was very pleased with it -- a Christmas gift to myself. It does run small -- best to order one size up -- I did and it fit perfectly.
