Bring bold color to your home's decor with this wool area rug hand woven by members of The Artisans Alliance Jawaja Weavers Division (AAJWD) of India. Vertical stripes of deep lavender march across an ivory background with a lapis blue border. Three narrow blue vertical stripes mark the center of the rug. A single horizontal stripe cuts through the middle of the rug, alternating colors from blue to ivory as it encounters the deep lavender cross stripes. The rug is finished with fringe in blue, deep lavender, and ivory.

Master artisan Eliazar Ochoa captures the grandeur of the Inca Empire in the details that compose this tapestry, made as an homage to the civilization born from the sun's sons. The artisan, from Peru, uses wool yarns and a traditional loom to create the piece, boasting bold hues and charming fringes.

Dressed in the traditional attire of the Andes, a group of women huddles together before dramatically snow-capped peaks. They are hilanderas, women who spin reels of wool shorn from sheep and the mighty alpaca. Raul Ulloa infuses the composition with geometric allure, the captivating angles complementing bold tones.

Zosimo Laura evokes the bold geometry of the Nazca Plain, intricately portrayed in hand-loomed wool. Mirror images in ochre and orange find a home on velvet black. The mysterious lines of Nazca depict abstract shapes, animal and bird figures. Probably the best-known geoglyphs in the world, they can be seen in their entirety only from the air.

Arrows streak across fields of glowing yellow as Mario Chávez weaves bold images in fiery colors. Surrounded by red stars, sunbursts inhabit the central field of this radiant design. The rug – named "Arpones" in Spanish – is hand-woven of virgin wool in Mexico's Zapotec tradition.
