"In Ghana we continue to have traditional ways of doing business, which are very effective and mainly done by women. They carry their wares on their heads, trays of fruits and foods, which they sell on the street or from door to door. They play a serious role in the development of Africa yet credit is not given to them, so this is my way of honoring them," explains Samuel Ashong. Big, White & Beautiful

I bought this for maple wood open shelves with light beige colored walls. It was too white so I placed it on different shelves with dark wood backing. It is very white. Also it is tall so check your measurements if you are going to place on a shelf. But most of all it is really unique and beautiful and I am so glad I purchased it.

Lovely

I purchased 2 of these trays--one for myself and one as a gift. I plan to use this tray if I am making a small cheese board. It is small, but it is beautiful. The colors are rich, the detailing is exquisite. I need to find a place to display it as it is too pretty to hide away!
