Known as symbols of spring, charming blooms decorate Ruth Mora's latest creation. Inspired by Costa Rica's tropical beauty, the artisan works on a dried gourd to hand-carve the gorgeous floral details that adorn the piece, enhancing its natural dark brown hue.

Tender hummingbirds will add a charming touch to your decor thanks to this set of three wall accents crafted by the Caronco Maleku Artisans from Costa Rica. Following traditional techniques, they create the accessories from dried gourds, equipping them with agave strings. Then, as the final touch, the artisans paint each scene in a colourful palette.

Displaying Costa Rica's natural richness in each element, this charming pendant necklace crafted by Ruth Guevara conveys a message of love for Mother Nature. The pendant is made from calabash gourd and enriched with hand-carved sunflower motifs painted by Ruth in warm hues, symbolizing adoration and happiness. In addition, pinewood beads decorate the accessory and adjustable sliding knot.

There is a goddess living in every African woman, and Ghana's Canis Dacosta Edwards portrays this spirit in this charming wall art. The artisan works with diverse elements—from calabash gourds and glass beads to wood—to create this precious scene of a hardworking woman. The lady, set on a glass base, is adorned with jewellery and fabulous garments whose yellow hues represent grace.

El Salvador's Marcela Moran creates this charming and natural nativity sculpture celebrating love and tranquility in Bethlehem. Atop a round base of cortez wood, Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus are crafted from jute, dried gourd and agave fibers. The holy trio is clothed with 100% cotton attire hand-woven in a traditional loom.

"This nativity line was created as a way of reevaluating an underestimated and little valued natural fiber which has great potential. It can be used for many things and we transform it into decorative pieces with multicoloured touches from the handmade fabric that complements it," Moran says.
