A multicolored horse appears like a mystical creature at the center of this original wall art composition by Edgar Trejo. Inspired by a spirit of innovation, the Mexican artist brings together Otomí and Hindu art in the design of this amate or fig paper composition centered by a hand-embroidered panel. Trejo prepares the paper by hand with techniques he learned from his father and uses natural dyes for color.

Working in the traditional folk art known as arpilleria, Leonor Quispe in Peru creates this marvelous cotton blend wall hanging. The fabric applique becomes a detailed harvest scene, with a cornfield in the foreground. Swans dot a pond in the center; while houses, horses and mountains populate the background. The artisan's attention to detail is magnificent.

Tossing their manes and prancing, three white horses join a cheerful elephant. Alaya Cholprasertsuk captures their mutual joy in a fanciful batik wall hanging design. Warm colors like love surround the animals. There is a rod pocket at the top so that the wall hanging can be displayed on a tapestry rod (not included).

As each piece is individually dyed, colors may vary slightly, making each wall hanging a unique work of art.

Indian designer Amit Moza presents this gorgeous bedspread to celebrate the magnificence of animals while bringing a traditional craft into the modern home. The antique white cotton bedspread is skillfully crafted by local artisans with intricate chain stitch work that can take up to 20 days to complete by hand. The wonderful design features an eclectic selection of wildlife living together in harmony; from ducks swimming happily in a pond, to graceful deer roaming the grassland. The solid cotton backing adds durability to the beautiful textile.
